THE MONEY STAYS HERE!

This phrase sums up true grass roots philanthropy - mobilizing as many people as possible, not just the wealthy, to support their hometowns.  While we don't know what changes are in store for our community, we do know that changes will occur.  The challenge is to unite our citizens in new ways to manage these changes for our benefit.   

Post-Garza County Endowment  is the answer.  As an affiliate of the Lubbock Area Foundation it is an ideal vehicle for preserving the wealth of our community and keeping it working for good.

 

    THE ENDOWMENT CHALLENGE 

As a result of our relationship with Lubbock Area Foundation, Post-Garza County Endowment has the opportunity to benefit from the Endowment Challenge  - a matching grant in the amount of $50,000 provided by the CH Foundation if we are successful in raising $50,000 or more by March 1, 2011.  Every $1.00 contributed becomes $2.00!

Post and Garza County are not the only community in the South Plains area to benefit from this unique opportunity.  The Levelland Area Endowment was established in 2007 and as a result of the Endowment Challenge, their assets were doubled within the first year of operation.  The Plainview Area Endowment has recently been established and is also working toward completion of  the Endowment Challenge in 2011.
